Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/4/14

9/4 is the day of Earth Tiger in the month of Water Rooster. This is a potentially volatile combination that can precipitate unexpected changes, It encourages being straight forward, determined, innovative, and lively. Tiger has harmony with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Pig, Rabbit, and Rat, and has discord with Snake, Monkey, Ox, Sheep, Rooster, and Dragon. Discord should not be thought of as bad. It can be positively productive. Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. People born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon can take advantage of this day to rearrange their home or work place, travel, move house, or make positive changes in work. Tiger is Robbing Star for Ox. People born in a year or day of Ox need to be sharp. Ox needs to guard against being robbed, not necessarily literally.
The hexagram of this day, according to the King Wen method, is number 30, line 6.

Hexagram 30 is Fire. The Sun and Moon are in their right places. Persevering brings success. Tend to that which supports you. Fire is useful for cooking.

Line 6 advises making corrections wherever necessary. The Earth of Earth Tiger puts a raven in line 6. It warns not to quarrel. Make corrections quickly and directly; avoid arguing. The zodiac sign of line 6, Snake is in a partially discordant relationship with line 3, the changing line. It then clashes with Tiger, the sign of the day, but is in harmony with Rooster, the sign of the month. This shows a difficult beginning, but a positive outcome. Efforts pay off.

The elements of the hexagram are Fire, Fire, and Fire.Triple light. It is extremely positive.
