Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/14/14

9/14 is the day of Earth Rat in the month of Water Rooster. This is a lively combination that favors trustworthiness, discipline, and creativity. Earth Rat works hard. Effort brings rewards.
Rat is in harmony with Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, Pig, Tiger, and Rooster, and in discord with Rabbit, Horse, Snake, Sheep, and Dog.
It is an especially good day for Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Rabbit, Sheep, and Pig.
Rat gives the command to Rat, Dragon, and Monkey. People born in the year or day of Rat, Dragon, or Monkey are able to stand out and take the lead today.
Rat brings possibilities of romance to Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 44, line 1.

Hexagram 44 is Meeting. It represents coming together, or separating. It is a good time for creative activity. If there is hardship, help will come. Be careful whom you trust. Reject evil influences. Hexagram 44 is good in fall. We are in Chinese fall season.

Line 1 advises to nip evil in the bud. The zodiac sign of line 1, Ox, is in a generally discordant relationship with the signs of changing lines 3, 4, and 5, but is in a strongly harmonious relationship with the signs of the day and month, i.e., Rat and Rooster. This means that if you are dealing with difficult conditions, the way out is clear. Success lies in moving forward and being productive.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Wood, and Metal. In difficulties, help comes.
