Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/28/14

9/28 is the day of Water Tiger in the month of Wood Dog. Water Tiger is called an Academic Nobleman Star. Its nature is intelligent and gentle. It promotes great achievements in studies, is fond of new knowledge, is desirous of self-improvement, and is able to turn adverse situations into favorable ones. This is a good day especially for people born in the year or day of Tiger.
The combination of Water Tiger with Wood Dog is harmonious, and favors perseverance in creative work.
Tiger is in harmony with Tiger, Horse, Dog, Pig, Rat, Rabbit, Dragon, and Sheep, and is in varying degrees of discord with Snake, Monkey, Rooster, and Ox.
If you were born in the year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon this is a good day for rearranging your home, moving house, traveling, or making changes in your work.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 53, line 3.

Hexagram 53 is Gradual Development. Small things accumulate to become large. Good luck. It is good to persevere.

Line 3 advises to learn from past mistakes and not to lose faith. The zodiac sign of line 3, Monkey, is in strong harmony with the signs of changing line 4. Monkey is in conflict with the sign for the day, Tiger, but is in harmony with the sign for the month, Dog. Earlier difficulties give way to ease. The outcome will be positive.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Wood. The earth bears up trees. It is good to be industrious.
