Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/26/14

9/26 is the day of Metal Rat in the month of Wood Dog. If there is something you need to drop this is a good day to do it. Metal Rat with Wood Dog is a dynamic, and discordant combination that favors being decisive and resolute, yet tactful, and resourceful.
Rat is in harmony with Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, Tiger, Rooster, and Pig, and is in varying degrees of discord with Rabbit, Horse, Sheep, Snake, and Dog.
For people born in the year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is a favorable day for romance.
For people born in the year or day of Rat, Dragon, or Monkey this is a favorable day for acting independently, and taking positive steps forward in entrepreneurial, and other professional interests.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 43, line 5.

Hexagram 43 is Resoluteness, or Decision.  You must resolutely make things known, to announce things truthfully. Danger. It is advantageous to go forward.

Line 5 advises thoroughly uprooting and eliminating rid of adverse influences. The zodiac sign of line 5, Rooster, is supported by the signs of changing line 3, is in harmony with the sign of the day, Rat, and in discord with the sign of the month, Dog. This means act now, not later. Don't procrastinate.  The Metal of Metal Rat puts a worm in line 5 warning of obstacles and hindrances that may develop. If you have legal dealings it is in your best interest to act in a timely manner.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Metal. Success is now attainable. It is time to act.
