Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/25/14

9/25 is the day of Earth Pig in the month of Wood Dog. This is a discordant combination that favors self-discipline and independent, creative activity. Earth Pig day is good for a new start.
Pig is in harmony with Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger, Rat, Rooster, neutral with Ox, and Dragon, and has varying degrees of discord with Pig, Snake, Monkey, Horse, and Dog.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is a good day for traveling, rearranging your home, moving house, or taking a positive step forward at work, as Pig is the Traveling Horse Star for your birth sign.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 11, line 3.

Hexagram 11 is Peace. The small goes, the great comes. A seed produces a tree. With a small investment a large profit can be be made. This hexagram is not too good in the fall. Effort must be made.

Line 3 says the law of change is always active. If a new step is not taken, misfortune will come. The zodiac sign of line three, Dragon, is in harmony with the signs of changing line 4, it is neutral with the sign of the day, Pig, and opposes the sign of the month, Dog. The Earth of Earth Pig puts a tortoise in line 3. Play your cards close to the chest and take a calculated risk. Do not underestimate the opposition. Be willing to fight for what you want.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Earth. There is gold in the earth. Look forward toward profits.
