Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/27/14

9/27 is the day of Metal Ox in the month of Wood Dog. This is a very discordant combination that tells you to tend to your plans and your health, and stay focused on practical matters.
Ox is in harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, neutral with Rabbit, Dragon, Monkey, and Pig, and in varying degrees of discord with Tiger, Sheep, Horse, and Dog.
If you were born in the year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, you are favored this day; Ox is the Star of Arts for you.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 38, line 4.

Hexagram 38 is Opposition. There is good fortune in small matters. If people are in dispute, tend to the small things that all can agree on.

Line 4 advises service. Tend to responsibilities and stay out of conflict. The zodiac sign of line 4, Rooster, is in harmony with the signs of changing line 5, and with the sign of the day, Ox, but is in discord with the sign of the month, Dog. Take care of what is right in front of you. The Metal of Metal Ox puts a raven in line 4. There exists the potential for quarrel and conflict.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Fire. Earth produces Metal. Metal resists Fire. Wealth is attained through right action.
