Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 9/15/14

9/14 is the day of Earth Ox in the month of Water Rooster. The combination is turbulent and risky. It favors being fearless and creative, and making money.
Ox has harmony with Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, Dragon, Monkey, and Pig, and discord with Horse, Sheep, Dog, Tiger, and Rabbit.
Ox favors artistic, creative, and inventive people born in the year or day of Rooster, Ox, or Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 5, line 5.

Hexagram 5 is Waiting. Clouds are building up, but no rain yet.  There is anticipation of success. It is good to persist. If you do, you will be successful. It is good to cross the great water. Go forward.

Line 5 favors persistence. Success is certain. Act when the time is right. The zodiac sign of line 5, Dog, clashes with the signs of the day and month, i.e., Ox and Rooster. Persistence, if you tolerantly deal with difficulties, brings success.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Water. To be receptive is fortunate.
