Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/26/14

12/26 is the day of Metal Sheep in the month of Fire Rat. This is a discordant and tricky combination that can precipitate unexpected changes and reversals, not necessarily unlucky. It favors those with creative, artistic talent.
Metal Sheep is a Red Light Star. It can cause trouble in romantic relationships. But, the combination of Metal Sheep with Fire Rat can take advantage of trouble, resolve difficulties, and bring good luck.
Sheep is the Star of Arts for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work. Take advantage of it.
Sheep gets along well with Sheep, Pig, Rabbit, Horse, Snake, and sometimes Rat; neutrally with Monkey, Rooster, Tiger, and Dragon; and with difficulty with Dog, Ox, and sometimes Rat.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 32, line 3.

Hexagram 32 is Heng, Constancy. The perpetual changing of elements generates all things. Success. No blame. It is good to persevere and to take action.

Line 3 advises against vacillating. The zodiac signs of line 3, Rooster and Rabbit, clash with one another, but are in harmony with the signs of changing line 2. They are in harmony with the sign for the day, but clash with the sign for the month. The energy is complicated. The Metal of Metal Sheep day puts a dragon in line 3. Despite difficulties, act positively. Meet your challenge.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Wood. The power of wood is strong. Grow and build. Help comes from many directions.
