Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 12/10/14

12/10 is the day of Wood Rabbit in the month of Wood Pig. This is a harmonious combination. It favors those who are resourceful, independent, and determined. Wood Rabbit is a Star of Prosperity. And the combination of Wood Rabbit and Wood Pig brings out Heavenly Virtue Star. Heavenly Virtue Star is kind, benevolent, and generous. It gives assistance from the Universe, and eases conflicts.
Rabbit is the Star of Romance for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for love.
If you were born in a day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep, this is a good day to take charge and move forward in your area if interest, be it personal or professional.
Rabbit gets along well with Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Dog, Tiger, and sometimes Dragon; neutrally with Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; and poorly with Rooster, Rat, and sometimes Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 60, line 1.

Hexagram 60 is Ji, or Limitation. Limited limitation is successful. Excess limitation is not. This hexagram is bad in winter.

Line 1 says that keeping within prescribed limits is good. Be content with your lot; no need to force your way. The zodiac sign of line 1, Snake, is in partial discord with the signs of changing lines 2 and 5, in harmony with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Rabbit puts a dragon in line 1. Do not violate boundaries unless you want to meet with opposition and misfortune. You can do well within your current limits.

The elements of this hexagram are Water, Metal, and Water. Water is being generated abundantly. It is a sign of prosperity.
