Daily Chinese asrological I Ching reading: 4/27/15

4/27 is the day of Water Rooster in the month of Metal Dragon. This is a harmonious combination. It favors resourcefulness and hard work.
Rooster is the Commanding Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to take initiative in your work.
If, on the other hand, you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day for developing a romantic relationship.
Rooster in general favors those born in a year, month, day, or hour of Ox, Snake, Dragon, or Monkey; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, and Sheep; challenges Rooster and Rabbit; and can either be good or bad to Dog depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 42, line 3.

Hexagram 42 is Yi, Increase. It furthers to do something. It is good to cross the great water. This hexagram is not good in spring.

Line 3 warns not to be insincere. You may benefit through seemingly unfavorable circumstances. The zodiac signs of line 3, Dragon and Monkey, are in harmony with one another, are in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1, and with the signs of the day and month. The Water of Water Rooster day puts a raven in line 1. Everything is ok. Don't fall into a misunderstanding and needlessly hurt anyone's feelings.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Wood. Wood is flourishing. Friends are coming from all directions.
