Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/14/15

4/14 is the day of Metal Monkey in the month of Earth Rabbit. This a harmonious combination that encourages being resourceful, working hard, and making money.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for moving forward in your career.
Monkey generally favors those born in a year, month, day, or hour of Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neither good nor bad for people born under Ox, Rabbit, Horse, or Sheep; and is a challenge to people born under Pig, Tiger, or Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 42, line 3.

Hexagram 42 is Yi, Increase. It furthers to do something. It is good to cross the great water. This hexagram is bad in spring.

Line 3 says that it is possible to gain through seemingly adverse circumstances. The zodiac sign of line 3, Dragon, is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Metal of Metal Monkey day puts a dragon in line 3. It is a very auspicious sign.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Wood. Wood is productive. Friends come from all directions.
