Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/3/15

4/3 is the day of Earth Rooster in the month of Earth Rabbit. This is a dangerous combination. It can trigger unanticipated changes. It favors those who can face challenges, take the lead, and work hard to succeed.
Earth Rooster is astute. It can use its talent and wit to take advantage of problematic situations.
Rooster is the Commanding Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to take courage and step forward in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon this is a good day for romantic adventures.
Rooster is generally favorable for people born in a year, month, day, or hour of Ox, Snake, Dragon, or Monkey; neither good nor bad for people born under Pig, Rat, Tiger, Horse, or Sheep; challenging for people born under Rooster or Rabbit; and mixed good and bad for people born under Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 56, line 1.

Hexagram 56 is Lu, The Traveler. Success through paying attention to small details. Doing what is right brings good fortune. This hexagram is good in spring.

Line 1 advises not getting involved in pettiness, or to be enticed out of your way. Keep a firm will. The zodiac sign of line 1, Dragon, is in harmony with the sign of the day, but may clash with the sign of the month. The Earth of Earth Rooster day puts a snake in line 1. There is more than meets the eye. It pays to watch closely.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Earth, Fire. Fire generates earth on all sides. Success.
