Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/29/15

4/29 is the day of Wood Pig in the day of Metal Dragon. This is a harmonious combination. It favors those who are resourceful, independent, and acquisitive.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for making progress in your career, changing your home or workplace around, and/or traveling.
Pig generally favors those born in a year, month, day, or hour of Rabbit, Sheep, Rat, Ox, or Tiger; is neutral toward Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Snake, Monkey, and Pig.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 30, line 6.

Hexagram 30 is Li, Fire. Take care of that which takes care of you. Perseverance brings success. This hexagram is bad in spring. Be careful with fire. It can give benefit and it can destroy.

Line 6 says that if there is anything that needs correcting, tend to it quickly and move forward. The zodiac signs for line 6 are in harmony with one another and are in harmony with the signs for changing line, 4, as well as with the signs for the day and month. The Wood of Wood Pig day puts a tortoise in line 6. It advises being discreet. Do not be too eager to correct others.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Fire, and Fire. The energy is brilliant.
