Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/17/15

4/17 is the day of Water Pig in the month of Earth Rabbit. This is a partly harmonious combination. It favors the expression of creative talent.
Water Pig, by itself, is a Knife Blade combination. It can become impatient and obstinate, and cause problems in relationships. But the combination of Water Pig and Earth Rabbit gives the ability to turn difficult situations around to advantage.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a potentially busy day, good for rearranging your home or work place, traveling, and moving forward in your career.
Pig generally favors those who were born in a year, month, day, or hour of Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger, Rat, or Ox; is neither good nor bad for people born under Dragon, Horse, Rooster, or Dog; and challenges people born under Snake, Monkey, or Pig.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 57, line 6.

Hexagram 57 is Sun, Penetration, or Wind. Success through what is small. It is advantageous to be active and to see people of influence.

Line 6 advises being decisive and not second guessing yourself. The zodiac sign for line 6, Rabbit, is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1, and with the signs of the day and month. The Water of Water Pig day puts a tiger in line 6. Everything serves to move decisively.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Wood. Friends come from everywhere.
