Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/22/15

4/22 is the day of Earth Dragon in the month of Metal Dragon. This is a powerfully dynamic combination. It favors independence and friendliness. Whatever you want you can get if you make the effort.
Dragon is the Star of Art for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative work.
Dragon generally favors those born in a year, month, day, or hour of Monkey, Rat, Rooster, or Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Ox; clashes with Dragon and Dog, and is either good or bad for Rabbit, depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 27, line 3.

Hexagram 27 is Yi, Jaws. To persevere is lucky. Pay attention to providing nourishment both in food and words. This hexagram is bad in spring. Watch what you say.

Line 3 encourages cooperative, giving and receiving equally. That is the way to love. The zodiac signs of line 3, Tiger and Pig are neutral toward one another, and partly class with the sign of the day and month. The Earth of Earth Dragon day puts a tiger in line 3. Selfish inconsideration will result in disaster.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Earth. Too much pressure stops action. Try not to force anything.
