Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/8/15

4/8 is the day of Wood Tiger in the month of Earth Rabbit. This is a very good, harmonious combination. It favors free-lancers and those who are entrepreneurial. And while gives luck and prosperity, and the ability to get around difficulties, it can bring out impatience, intolerance, and anger.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this may be a busy day, good for organizing your home or office, and for developing your work.
Tiger is generally good for people born in a year, month, day, or hour of Tiger, Horse, Dog, Pig, Rabbit, or Dragon; neither good nor bad for people born under Sheep, Rooster, Rat, or Ox; and a challenge to people born under Snake or Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 6, line 4.

Hexagram 6 is Song, Conflict. Be careful of what you say. Your intentions may be good, but if you find opposition, stop half way. Don't try to force anything. This is not the time to cross the great water.

Line 4 advises stepping back, if conflict arises, and changing your attitude. The zodiac signs for line 4, Horse and Dog, are in harmony with one another, in partial harmony with the signs of changing line 5, and in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Tiger puts a snake in line 4. It is not wise to drive your point. It is better to be reserved and friendly. You will gain more that way today.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Water, and Metal. It encourages reflecting.
