Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 4/26/15

4/26 is the day of Water Monkey in the month of Metal Dragon. This is a dynamic combination that favors resourcefulness, independence, and the ability to stand up courageously to challenges, whatever they be.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this may be a busy day, good for rearranging your home or work place and for making progress in your career.
Monkey generally favors those born in a year, month, day, or hour of Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and challenges Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 36, line 4.

Hexagram 36 is Mingyi, Darkening of the Light. In difficult or bad times it is favorable to persevere. If your energies are strong and focused you can make your dream come true. Nothing in the world is difficult if you put your heart into it.

Line 4 says you can intuitively understand the meaning of your obstacles and be able to move around them. The zodiac sign for line 4, Ox, is in partial discord with the signs of changing lines 1 and 6, and in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Water of Water Monkey day puts a worm in line 4. Do not let obstacles or hindrances discourage you.

The elements of this hexagram are Water, Fire, and Earth. Hidden blessings will shine out when the time changes again.
