Chinese astrological I Ching reading for 1/13/16

1/13 is the day of Wood Horse in the month of Earth Ox. This is a dangerous combination. It can cause unexpected reversals and upsets. On the other hand, it can resolve difficulties in surprising ways. It also brings out the deity of Conventional Wealth who favors all those who are down to earth, alert, diligent, utilitarian, and good a managing finances and banking. It favors careers in finance, entrepreneurship, investing, and trading.
Horse is the Commanding Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day to take charge and move positively forward in your career.
Horse can also bring romance to Snake, Rooster, and Ox.
Horse generally favors Dog, Tiger, Sheep, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 46, line 4.

Hexagram 46 is Sheng, Ascending. Success. It is helpful to see influential people. Traveling toward the south brings good luck. Seek to advance to a higher level.

Line 4 The king offers him to Mount Qi. Good luck. No blame. This shows positive rewards for having taken right actions. The zodiac sign for line 4, Ox, is strong by the season, and, by the hexagram, signifies money. Ox clashes with the sign for the day, but is in harmony with the sign for the month. Earlier trouble gives way to later gains. The Wood of Wood Horse day puts a snake in line 4. Pay attention to details, and trust your intuition of what may be hidden below the surface.
