Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 1/18/16

1/18 is the day of Earth Pig in the month of Earth Ox. This is a harmonious combination. It brings out Amiable deity who favors those who are individualistic, decisive, strong willed, and independent.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day to be active in your work, rearrange your space, move, or travel.
Pig favors Rabbit, Sheep, Tiger, Rat, and Ox; is neutral toward Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Pig, Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 33, line 2.

Hexagram 33 is Tun, Withdrawing. Success through taking care of details.

Line 2 If you cannot withdraw, it pays to cooperate with those above and below you. The zodiac sign of line 2, Horse, is weak by the season, and, by the hexagram, represents your ability to stand up to challenges. Horse is neutral toward the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. The Earth of Earth Pig day puts a tiger in line 2. Lack of focus followed by shock; be alert; don't fall asleep at the wheel.
