Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/12/15

3/12 is the day of Fire Pig in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a harmonious combination. It brings out Explicit Talent Deity. Explicit Talent Deity favors those who are gifted, optimistic, determined, and fast learners. It favors careers in all the arts, law, sales and negotiations, foreign relations, invention, and innovation.
This combination also brings luck, resolves difficulties, and attracts helpful people when needed.
Pig is the Traveling Star for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this can be a busy day, good for traveling, rearranging your home and/or work place, and making positive moves in your career.
Pig favors Rabbit, Sheep, Rat, Ox, and Tiger; is neutral toward Dragon, Horse, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Pig, Snake, and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 15, line 5.

Hexagram 15 is Qian, Modesty. Success. Carry things through thoroughly.

Line 5 Be calm and make decisions based on clearly understood, balanced motives, so that your actions are appropriate to the situation at hand. The zodiac sign of line 5, Pig, is in a generally harmonious relation with the signs of changing lines 2, 3, and 4, clashes with the sign of the day, and is in harmony with the sign of the month. The Fire of Fire Pig day puts a tortoise in line 5. Patience pays off.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Earth. Strong foundations and accumulation of merit guarantee success.
