Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/18/15

3/18 is the day of Water Snake in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a tricky combination. It can cause unanticipated trouble, but it can also turn bad situations around
It brings out Proper Authority Deity. At worst Proper Authority Deity can cause stress and injury. But, it favors those who are trustworthy, upright, moral, rational, responsible, disciplined, and work hard.
Snake is the Traveling Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this can be a busy day, good for traveling, reorganizing your home or work place, and for making progress in your career.
Snake favors Snake, Rooster, Ox, Horse, and Sheep; is neutral toward Dog, Rat, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Monkey, Pig, and Tiger.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 30, line 6.

Hexagram 30 is Li, Fire. Perseverance brings success. Taking care of what supports you brings good luck. This hexagram is bad in spring.

Line 6 advises making corrections where necessary. The zodiac signs of line 6, Snake and Rooster, are in harmony with each other, with the signs of changing line 4, and with the sign of the day, but clash with the sign of the month. The Water of Water Snake day puts a tiger in line 6. When all is clear, act forcefully. There is money to be made, and rewards to be gained.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Fire, and Fire. The energy is brilliant.
