Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/3/15
3/3 is the day of Earth Tiger in the month of Earth Tiger. While this combination can cause sudden change, and sudden trouble, Earth Tiger is a special star combination called Tian Shu that gives a high degree of protection.
The combination of Earth Tiger with Earth Tiger brings out Amiable Deity. Amiable Deity favors those who are competitive, who love challenges, are confident, decisive, individualistic, strong willed, firm, and calm, and who like to work alone. It favors independent professions.
Tiger is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this can be a busy day, good for traveling, rearranging your home and/or work place, and moving forward in your career.
Tiger favors Tiger, Horse, Dog, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching for the day, using the King Wen calculation, is number 62, line 4.
Hexagram 62 is Zraoguo, Preponderance of the Small. Success through perseverance. Small things can be done, but not big things. A flying bird brings the message it is better to remain below than to strive upward. Great good fortune. This hexagram is good in spring.
Line 3 advises to be flexible and not force anything. The zodiac sign of line 4, Horse, is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 3, and with the sign of the day and month. The Earth of Earth Tiger puts a tortoise in line 4. You will be all the more productive if you keep your business to yourself.
The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, and Wood. The elements are in a low state. Gains come later.
