Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/17/15

3/17 is the day of Water Dragon in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a discordant combination. It brings out Imposing Authority Deity, favoring those who are authoritative, aspiring, vigorous, alert, firm, persevering, decisive, bold, and able to lead. It favors adventurous, risky careers, such as military, judicial, surgical, and so on.
This combination is highly intelligent, commanding, capable, ambitious, and motivated. It is able to take advantage of adverse situations, and find ways to get around and out of all difficulties.
Dragon is the Star of Arts for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for creative thinking and work.
Dragon favors Monkey, Rat, Rooster, Tiger, and sometimes Rabbit; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Sheep, Pig, and Ox; and clashes with Dog, Dragon, and sometimes Rabbit.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 38, line 4.

Hexagram 38 is Kui, Opposition. Kui gives luck in small matters. It is good in spring.

Line 4 says it is good to find someone with whom you can cooperate and trust. The zodiac sign for line 4, Rooster, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines 5 and 6, in harmony with the sign for the day, and neutral with the sign of the month. The Water of Water Dragon puts a worm in line 4. Despite any problems along the way keep going. Effort pays off.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Metal, and Fire. Right action wins wealth.
