Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/19/15

3/19 is the day of Wood Horse in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a partially discordant combination. It brings out Unconventional Wealth Deity, favoring those who are good at financial management, tactful, generous, sociable, and flexible. It favors speculative professions involving stocks, bonds, trading, futures, and so on. This combination also encourages prosperity.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog, this is a good day for taking initiative and moving forward in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox this is a good day for romantic interests.
Horse favors Dog, Tiger, Sheep, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 40, line 2.

Hexagram 40 is Jie, Releasing. Cooperating with others is favorable. If there is nothing to be gained by going forward, going back brings good fortune. If there is something to be gained by going forward, going forward brings good fortune.

Line 2 advises conquering yourself before you try to conquer others. The zodiac sign for line 2, Dragon, is in partial discord with the signs of changing line 6, and is neutral toward the signs of the day and month. The Wood of Wood Horse day puts a raven in line 2. In standing up, taking the lead, and facing challenges, beware of getting into a squabble. Keep your eye on the goal.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Water, and Wood. Water generates life abundantly. It is time for an adventure.
