Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/13/15

3/13 is the day of Earth Rat in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a harmonious combination. It brings out Amiable Deity. Amiable Deity is friendly yet independent. It favors those who are confident, decisive, individualistic, strong-willed, firm, and proud. It favors all independent professions.
Earth Rat is highly intelligent and studious, and easily receives knowledge.
Rat is the Star of Command for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to take charge and go forward in your career.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is a good day for romance.
Rat favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Pig, Ox, and sometimes Sheep; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; and clashes with Rabbit, Horse, and sometimes Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 44, line 1.

Hexagram 44 is Gou, Coming to Meet. The maiden is powerful. It is not good to marry. This hexagram is good in spring.

Line 1 says it should be checked with a brake of bronze. Following a right course leads to good fortune. Moving on impulse like a raging pig leads to misfortune. Its advise is to nip evil in the bud. The zodiac sign of line 1, Ox, is in partial harmony with the signs of changing lines 4 and 5, and in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The Earth of Earth Rat day puts a worm in line 1. Move forward carefully, not overlooking anything.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Wood, and Metal. At the extremity of want help comes.
