Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/9/15

3/9 is the day of Wood Monkey in the month of Earth Tiger. This is a discordant combination; the energy clashes. It brings out Unconventional Wealth Deity. Unconventional Wealth Deity encourages making money from varying sources. It favors those who are apt at financial management, tactful, generous, sociable, and flexible. It favors such professions as trading in stocks, futures, commodities, and so on.
Monkey is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is an active day, good for making headway in your work.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 8, line 3.

Hexagram 8 is Bi, Uniting, or Loyalty. Good fortune if you hold to a high standard and persevere. Those who doubt eventually join. Those who come too late meet with misfortune. This hexagram is not good in spring, especially if you are ill.

Line 3 advises to see if you are not attracting the wrong people. The zodiac sign of line 3, Rabbit, is in general harmony with the signs of changing lines 4 and 5, is neutral with the sign of the day, and in harmony with the sign of the month. The Wood of Wood Monkey day puts a worm in line 3. Not everything is the way you may think. Blindly taking chances might get you stuck.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Water. The image of a strait. Great caution is advised.
