Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 3/28/15

3/28 is the day of Water Rabbit in the month of Earth Rabbit. This is a partially discordant combination. It favors those who engage in inventive, creative, and artistic activities. This combination also resolves predicaments, and brings good luck.
Rabbit is the Star of Romance for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a day or year of one of these three signs this is a good day for romantic interests.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is a good day for making progress in creative projects.
Rabbit generally favors those born in a year, month, day, or hour of Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Tiger, or Dog; is neither good nor bad for those born under Snake, Horse, Monkey, or Ox; may challenge those born under Rooster or Rat; and can work either positively or negatively for those born under Dragon.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 44, line 1.

Hexagram 44 is Gou, Coming to Meet. The maiden is too powerful. Do not marry. Don't force things. This hexagram is bad in spring.

Line 1 advises nipping an evil situation in the bud. Stop before it gets out of control. The zodiac sign for line 1, Ox, clashes with the signs of changing lines 2 and 5, and is neutral with the sign of the day and month. The Water of Water Rabbit day puts a tortoise in line 1. It advises discretion. Don't make trouble for yourself.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Wood, and Metal. Wood is hacked by metal. In the midst of adversity a helper comes.
