Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/11/16

7/11 is the day of Wood Horse in the month of Wood Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It supports resolving difficult situations, and favors leadership and competitiveness.
This day is designated as auspicious and closed. Also called an emptiness day, it neutralizes negative influences, but is bad for any activity of great personal or business importance. It is not good to start, but to bring matters to resolve.
The lunar mansion of this day is Xin, or Heart. It is ok for traveling, but bad for starting lawsuits, breaking ground, and burials. It is very bad for arguments.
Horse, the sign of this day, is the Star of Romance for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for romantic affairs, but not good for marriage proposals.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, and Dog, this is a good day for doing business, but not good for starting a new business or new job.
Horse favors Dog, Tiger, Sheep, and Snake; is neutral toward Monkey, Rooster, Pig, Rabbit, and Dragon; and clashes with Horse, Rat, and Ox.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 48, line 5.

Hexagram 48 is Jing, the Well. The well is unchangeable. If you get almost to the water but your rope is not long enough, or the jug breaks, bad luck.

Line 5 The water is clear and cold. The zodiac sign of line 5, Dog, is strong by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies money. Dog is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 1, and with the sign of the day, but clashes with the sign of the month. A treasure is concealed in the earth. The Wood of Wood Horse day puts a tiger in line 5. Heedlessness invites disaster.
