Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/7/16

7/7 marks the beginning of the solar calendar period called Lesser Heat. It puts the San Sha, or Three Killings in the west. It is considered bad to dig or disturb the ground, or to do construction or drill in walls in that direction now.
7/7 is the day of Metal Tiger in the day of Wood Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It favors diligence and routine work to make money.
This day is designated as auspicious and danger.
The danger day is good for religious worship, also for dismantling, or taking things apart, and for bed positioning in fengshui.
It is not good for travel, making renovations, moving house, or getting married. It is also not good for exploring unfamiliar places.
It is good for getting help if needed. Positive actions taken today will result in increased wealth.
The lunar mansion of this day is Jiao, the Horn. It brings increased wealth.
Tiger, the sign for this day, is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day to make progress in your career, to rearrange your home or workplace, but not travel unless necessary.
Tiger favors Tiger, Horse, Dog, Rabbit, Dragon, and Pig; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Rat, and Ox; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 1, line 6.

Hexagram 1 is Qian, The Creative. Success comes with persistence.

Line 6 Arrogant dragon will have cause for regret. The zodiac sign of line 6, Dog, is strong by the element of the season, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies resources. Dragon is for the most part in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1, 2, 3, and 5, but clashes with the signs of the day and month. Wood buried in earth. There is no point to try forcing growth. It will grow up in the right time. The Metal of Metal Tiger day puts a snake in line 6. Pay attention to small details. Expect the unexpected.
