Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/31/16

7/31 is the day of Wood Tiger in the month of Wood Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It favors research, and supports problem solving.
This day is designated as excellent and danger. If uncertain, better retreat. This is called a gods and ghosts emptiness day. Don't press your luck; you could get fooled. The day is ok except for travel, making renovations, moving house, getting married, and exploring new, or unknown territory.
A danger day presents us with uncertainties. It is traditionally considered a good day for religious worship, and bed positioning in fengshui.
The lunar mansion of this day is Xing, or Star. It is ok for negotiations, and bad for burials.
Tiger, the sign of this day, is the Traveling Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for rearranging your house, and making progress in your work, but not for traveling.
Tiger favors Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Horse, Dog, and Pig; is neutral toward Sheep, Rooster, Ox, and Rat; and clashes with Snake and Monkey.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 61, line 4.

Hexagram 61 is Zhongfu, Essential Truth. Even pigs and fishes understand this. Good luck. Time to persevere.

Line 4 Follow your course without deviating. The zodiac signs of line 4, Sheep and Horse, are in harmony with one another, and are strong by the season element. By the element of the hexagram they signify support, favoring research. Sheep and Horse are for the most part in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 1, 2, and 3, and are in harmony with the signs of the day and month. The elements here are not in a productive relationship. If you are uncertain, avoid unnecessary trouble by retreating. The Wood of Wood Tiger day puts a snake in line 4. The snake is sagacious. This is a good day for divination. Look into the possible consequences of your choices.
