Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/13/16

7/13 is the day of Fire Monkey in the month of Wood Sheep. This is a harmonius combination. It has the ability to turn difficulties around to advantage, and favors making money while helping others. It's good for counselors.
This day is designated as inauspicious and for removals.
It is useless for any major undertaking, but, being a removal day, it is good for getting rid of things, spiritual practices for removing bad karma, cleansing, ending bad relationships, surgical procedures, demolitions, and for businesses getting rid of old, unwanted inventory. There is danger of theft.
The day is good for routine work.
The lunar mansion of this day is Ji, the Basket. It is good for settling debts, and making fengshui adjustments, including door alignments.
Monkey, the sign of the day, is the Traveling Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for rearranging and cleaning out the house or business place.
Monkey favors Monkey, Rat, Dragon, Rooster, and Dog; is neutral toward Ox, Rabbit, Horse, and Sheep; and clashes with Pig, Tiger, and Snake.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 48, line 5.

Hexagram 48 is Jing, the Well. The town can be changed, but not the well. If you get down almost to the water and the rope is too short, or the jug breaks, bad luck.

Line 5 the water is cool and clear. The zodiac sign of line 5, Dog, is strong by the element of the season, and by the element of the hexagram, signifies money. Dog is in harmony with the sign of the day, but clashes with the sign of the month demanding effort. Gold in the earth. Profits ahead. The Fire of Fire Monkey day puts a tortoise in line 5. Do not let others take unfair advantage of you, or steal from your business.
