Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/30/16

7/30 is the day of Water Ox in the month of Wood Sheep. This is a partly harmonious combination. It favors courage and creativity.
This day is designated as dire and destruction! It is especially bad for opening a business, traveling, and getting married, can bring harm to livestock and pets, is dangerous for legal issues.
A destruction day is good only for destroying things, and for demolitions.
The lunar mansion for this day is Liu, or Willow. It is useless for any important activity, and is bad for fengshui adjustments, especially door and water placements.
Ox, the sign for this day, is the Star of Art for Snake, Rooster, and Ox. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day to concentrate on creative work.
Ox favors Ox, Snake, Rooster, Rat, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, and Monkey; and clashes with Horse, Sheep, and Dog.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 26, line 2.

Hexagram 26 is Daxu, Great Restraint. Good for perseverance. Not eating at home is lucky. It is good to cross the great water.

Line 2 The axles are taken from the wagon. The zodiac signs of line 2, Tiger and Ox, are neutral toward one another. Tiger is strong by the season element, and Ox is weak. By the element of the hexagram, they signify colleagues and money, people with whom you can make money. Tiger and Ox are in harmony with the sign of the day, and clash with the sign of the month. The image of a forest covering the earth. Sincerety brings good fortune. The Water if Water Ox day puts a dragon in line 2. This encourages you to be very positive in your actions, notwithstanding the warnings. The entire meaning, however, can be inverted, in which case watch out for potential violence.
