Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/29/16

7/29 is the day of Water Rat in the month of Wood Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It favors diligence and creative work; a good day not to be distracted.
This day is designated as inauspicious and initiate. In other words, don't start something you will regret. This day is called a direct pure day, best not used for anything of particular importance. In other words, be content with matters on hand now.
An initiate day is good for taking on new work, and making beginnings, but be careful of starting anything big now as tomorrow is a destruction day, and what you start today you may soon drop.
The lunar mansion of this day is Gui, or Ghost. It is a negative sign, and is especially bad for traveling to the west. It is ok for burials, however.
Rat, the sign of this day, is the Star of Romance for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for romantic affairs.
If you were born in a year or day of Monkey, Rat, or Dragon, this is a good day for making progress in your work.
Rat is compatible with Rat , Dragon, Monkey, Ox, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is ambivalent toward Sheep.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 15, line 5.

Hexagram 15 is Qian, Modesty. Carry things out to completion.

Line 5 Do not boast. Action speaks louder than words. The zodiac sign of line 5, Pig, is weak by the season element, and, by the element of the hexagram, signifies creative, or business interests. Pig is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 4, and with the signs of the day and month. Work smoothly and peacefully. Rewards come with effort. The Water of Water Rat day puts a snake in line 5. It suggests something hidden; good for research, metaphysical work, and secret investigation.
