Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 7/17/16

7/17 is the day of Metal Dog in the month of Wood Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It favors entrepreneurial activities.
This day is designated as inauspicious and balance. It is generally not good at all for any major activity, such as moving house, construction, getting married, and holds dangers of legal entanglements and health issues, even injuries.
The lunar mansion of this day is Wei, or Danger Star. It warns of physical harm, dangers in or near water, and is bad for all personal or commercial activities except debt collection.
Dog, the sign of this day, is the Star of Art for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for creative work.
Dog favors Dog, Tiger, Horse, Monkey, and Rabbit; is neutral toward Pig, Rat, and Snake; clashes with Ox, Dragon, and Sheep; and is ambivalent toward Rooster.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 22, line 1.

Hexagram 22 is Pen, Grace. Success in small matters.

Line 1 favors simplicity. The zodiac sign for line 1, Rabbit, is strong by the element of the season, and by the element of the hexagram, signifies power. Strong power. Rabbit is partly in harmony with the signs of changing lines, 2 and 6, and is in harmony with the signs of the day and month. This favors acting independently. Sincerity brings good fortune. The Metal of Metal Dog day puts a tiger in line 1. Be careful not to expose yourself to danger. The tiger is a sign of disaster.
