Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/19/15

8/19 is the day of Fire Rabbit in the month of Wood Monkey. This is a harmonious combination. It favors working and making money.
Rabbit is the Commanding Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day to be active in your work.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog this is also a good day for love.
Rabbit generally favors Rabbit, Sheep, Pig, Dog, and Tiger; is neutral toward Snake, Horse, Monkey, and Ox; clashes with Rat and Rooster; and is either good or bad with Dragon depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 21, line 5.

Hexagram 21 is Heshi, Biting Through. It is favorable to enforce justice.

Line 5 advises taking a perfectly balanced course of action. The zodiac signs of line 5, Sheep and Rooster are neutral toward one another. Both are strong by the season. Sheep is also strong by the hexagram, but Rooster is weak. Rooster also weakens Sheep somewhat. Sheep in this hexagram represents your money, and Rooster represents demands made on you. You are stronger than you were yesterday. Both Sheep and Rooster are in harmony with the signs of changing line, 6. They partly clash with the sign of the day, and are in harmony with the sign of the month. The Fire of Fire Rabbit day puts a tortoise in line 5. This advises to be private, and avoid theft.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Wood, and Fire. This is a productive time.
