Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/28/15

8/28 is the day of Fire Rat in the month of Wood Monkey. This is a harmonious combination. While it can bring up problems in the family, especially with in-laws, it has the ability to turn difficult situations around, and it favors making money.
Rat is the Commanding Star for Monkey, Rat, and Dragon. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for taking charge and pursuing your goals.
If you were born in a year or day of Pig, Rabbit, or Sheep this is a good day for romantic relations.
Rat generally favors Rat, Dragon, Monkey, Ox, and Pig; is neutral toward Tiger, Snake, Rooster, and Dog; clashes with Rabbit and Horse; and is either good or bad with Sheep depending on circumstances.
The I Ching hexagram for this day is number 37, line 2.

Hexagram 37 is Jiaren, Family. The perseverance of a woman succeeds.

Line 2 advises paying attention to matters at hand. The zodiac sign of line 2, Ox, is strong by the season and weak by the hexagram. It represents in this hexagram your relationship with what supports you: your home, health, food, education, parents, and organization which gives you support. Ox is in harmony with the signs of changing lines 3 and 6, and with the signs of the day and month. Support is good and favorable. The Fire of Fire Rat day puts a worm in line 2. Boundaries are strong. You are either inside or outside. Respect proper boundaries.

The elements of this hexagram are Wood, Fire, and Wood. Wood produces Fire. This strongly favors family and business.
