Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/10/15

8/10 is the day of Earth Horse in the lunar month of Water Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It favors being proactive, independent, and resourceful. It is also a Heavenly Medicine Star combination. It says that if you are weak or ill now, it is bad sign; you need to take care of yourself.  On the other hand, if you are strong this is a good sign. Heavenly Medicine Star favors consulting astrologers, and diviners.
Horse is the Commanding Star for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for going forward with your career plans.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox this is a good day for romantic relations.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 64, line 3.

Hexagram 64 is Weiji, Before Completion. Success. But if the little fox gets his tail wet before crossing the stream, misfortune. This hexagram is dangerous in fall. We are in Chinese fall.

Line 3 says to make corrections where necessary, and that if you are on the wrong course, better start over again. The zodiac sign of line 3, Horse, is weak because of the season, but strong because of the hexagram. It's strength is questionable. In this hexagram it represents your friendships, impersonal associations, and sibling relations; be careful with them. Horse is in harmony with the signs of changing line, 4, and while it is partly harmonious with the signs of the day and month, it is weakened by the sign of the month. This could put you at a temporary disadvantage. The Earth of Earth Horse day puts a tiger in line 3, saying that if you are in a good position, despite compromised conditions, you can attack with force. However, if you are in a bad position, attacking will result in disaster.

The elements of this hexagram are Fire, Water, and Fire. Avoid needless trouble.
