Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 8/7/15
8/7 is the day of Wood Rabbit in the month of Water Sheep. This is a harmonious combination. It promotes prosperity and favors independence.
Rabbit is the Commanding Star for Pig, Rabbit, and Sheep. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs this is a good day for making business deals.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Horse, or Dog this is a good day for romantic interests.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 1, line 6.
Hexagram 1 is Qian, Heaven, The Creative. Success comes through persistence.
Line 6 warns that if you try to force things, and go to extremes, you will have regrets. The zodiac sign for line 6, Dog, is very strong in light of the season and hexagram. It represents your business interests. You are in a strong position. Dog is partly in harmony with the signs of changing line, 5, combines harmoniously with the sign of the day, and clashes with the sign of the month. In spite of complicated conditions, you will succeed in your aims, providing you don't try to force it. If you begin something today, it will gain in strength over the next few days. Be careful with what that is; you don't want to start up trouble. The Wood of Wood Rabbit day puts a tortoise in line 6. It says to keep secret and guard against potential theft, or being taken undue advantage of.
The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Metal, and Metal. The power of Metal is strong. Tomorrow is the first day of Chinese autumn, the season of Metal. Metal cuts, and defines boundaries. Metal is also gold. Good fortune.
