Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/2/14

10/2 is the day of Fire Horse in the month of Wood Dog. Fire Horse is a peak day. Fire Horse with Wood Dog is a harmonious combination. It favors resourcefulness, creativity, and acquisitiveness.
If you were born in a year or day of Snake, Rooster, or Ox, this is also a good day for developing a romantic interest.
If you were born in a year or day of Tiger, Dog, or Horse, this is a good day to take initiative and step forward in your life and career.
Horse day is harmonious for Dog, Tiger, Sheep, Rabbit, Snake, and Dragon, and discordant for Horse, Rat, Ox, Pig, Monkey, and Rooster.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 52, line 6.

Hexagram 52 is the Mountain, or Stillness. Keeping the back still like a mountain, he goes into the courtyard and does not see people. No blame. This means perfect concentration and calmness.

Line 6 says peace and tranquility can be yours. The zodiac sign of line 6, Tiger, is in harmony with the signs of changing line 5, and with the signs of the day and month, Horse and Dog. The Fire of Fire Horse puts a dragon in line 6. It is lucky. This is a day in which to achieve your goal.

The elements of this hexagram are Earth, Earth, and Earth. The power of earth is great. Good fortune. Reflect on the good that you have received from your ancestors.
