Daily Chinese astrological I Ching reading: 10/11/14

10/11 is the day of Wood Rabbit in the month of Wood Dog. This is a harmonious combination that focuses on money and favors independent activity. Wood Rabbit is a Star of Prosperity, and Dog acts for Wood Rabbit to build up money.
This is a high energy day for Rabbit, and a peak day for Tiger.
Rabbit is the Star of Romance for Tiger, Horse, and Dog. If you were born in a year or day of any of these three signs, this day favors your romantic interests.
Rabbit is also the Commanding Star for Sheep, Pig and Rabbit. If you were born in a year or day of one of these three signs, this is a good day for you to take initiative and step forward in your career.
The I Ching hexagram for this day, using the King Wen method, is number 35, line 4.

Hexagram 35 is Progress, or Advancement. If you are offered an opportunity to fulfill a goal it is to your advantage to take advantage of it.

Line 4 warns, however, that if you try to advance too quickly, you may meet with trouble. The zodiac signs of line 4, Rooster and Dog, are in discord with one another, and have partially harmonious relations with the signs of the day and month, Rabbit and Dog. And the Wood of Wood Rabbit puts a snake in line 4. It says be aware that there is something hidden. All in all, make sure you are focused, and take positive steps while not overlooking possibilities of frustration along the way.

The elements of this hexagram are Metal, Earth, Fire. Simplicity is best.
